BioBusiness Labs
BioBusiness Labs offer organizations the opportunity to connect and work with MIT Sloan students on critical business issues. Projects can be initiated by students, school faculty, or businesses and may focus on aspects such as product development, market research, business strategy, or patient advocacy.
Speaker Series
The Lunchtime Speaker Series provides a forum for members to interact with leaders of biomedical organizations. Seminar topics and frequency vary yearly based on the interest areas of the club membership. Typical presentation can focus on anything from job function nuances to industry issues, and they may be presented by students or invited guests.
Treks
The BBC sponsors company visits to different parts of the country and world to learn about companies in the life sciences and health care space. Students are typically invited to a company for a few hours to meet representatives and learn about the company. Treks in the last few years have taken place in the greater Boston area, NYC and New Jersey, California, and the U.K. and Switzerland.
Student Services
Throughout the year, the BBC provides new members with the resources to help improve their resumes, find an internship, and meet other students interested in healthcare. Students will be notified about panel discussions, resume reviews, and social gatherings by signing up for the club and becoming part of our email distribution list.
